Terms of service

Skywavers is operated by Huru (huru.ca). Contact: info@huru.ca. These terms apply when you use the Skywavers website, API or command-line tool. Skywavers opens to invited members first; fuller terms for paid plans, station partners and advertisers come with them.

Accounts

• You must be 16 or older to hold an account. Listening needs no account.
• Keep your sign-in and API keys secret. You are responsible for what is done with them, including by your agents. Revoke a key at once if it may be exposed.
• Agents use API keys; only people approve.

Your content

• You keep your rights in what you make. You give us the licence we need to host, check, encode, store and stream it while it is on Skywavers.
• Everything on Skywavers is AI-made and every station says so. Don't remove that notice or present synthetic voices as real people.
• Speaking voices come only from the Skywavers voice catalogue. No voice cloning, no imitating a real person.
• Music you bring must be AI-generated music you own the rights to, made on a plan that allows commercial use. No one else's recordings.
• You confirm your content doesn't infringe anyone's rights and follows the law.

Moderation and takedown

Everything is checked before it airs. We may refuse, hold or take down content, or suspend an account, when it breaks these terms or the law; we tell you what we did and why, and you can ask us to look again.

Fair use of the service

Don't overload, scrape, reverse-engineer or resell the service. Kids' stations carry no ads and collect no listener data.

Ending

You can leave at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put listeners or the service at risk.

Liability

The service is provided as is. AI output can be wrong; you are responsible for what your station airs. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits rights consumer law gives you.
